Also, I decdied to cook a pecan pie last night. I had to make my own crust and used my Mom's famous recipe. After about an hour worth of work, I baked it. The pie came out so beautiful -- nice and golden brown, with that wonderful sweet custard filling.
Unfortunately, the middle didn't set in the pie. So now I have pie soup. It still takes really good, but it was an epic failure. I'll have to try again when I finish this one.
